Motorcycle Routes Southern Spain are a dream come true. The roads in Southern Spain are magnificent, the sun is shining most of the days and the temperatures are pleasant.
Motorcycle Routes Southern Spain are amazing because temperatures are most of the year enjoyably, here in the mountains South of the Sierra Nevada. It’s a delight to ride your motorbike in these wonderful temperatures.
Motorcycle Routes Southern Spain in the sun, in fact most days the sun is shining in the Sierra Nevada Spain. I like that a lot. I’m from the Netherlands. And I like to ride my motorbike in sunny warm weather.
However when riding a motorcycle in Southern Spain in the summer, be sure to wear cool motorbike gear because it is getting hot in the middle of the day.
I live in Orgiva, it is a small mountain village in the South of the Sierra Nevada. From Orgiva you are riding within minutes on stunning mountain roads.
Órgiva is a Spanish town municipality in comarca of Alpujarra Granadina (which is located within the larger Alpujarras region) in the province of Granada, Andalusia. Orgiva has a population of around 6,000 and lies in the Alpujarra valley between the Sierra de Lújar and Sierra Nevada.
A great place to stay is El Diamante de Orgiva. Reasonably priced luxury holiday apartments and a parking garage to keep your bike safe.

In recent years Orgiva has become a popular tourist destination for those visiting the Alpujarras, and the town is often described as "the gateway" to this area.
A large market is held on Thursdays. Orgiva is host to a newly opened municipal swimming pool and football pitch.
Orgiva has good amenities, there are supermarkets, banks, chemists, medical and some great restaurants, La Almazara and Baraka, and bars.
